Clare offers some wonderful cycling along quiet country roads as well as the Riesling and Rattler Rail Trails. The generally undulating countryside is ideal for vineyards which provide the grapes for some of the best white wines produced in Australia. Many of the wineries offer wine tasting to visitors so most bike rides are broken up with stops along the way to sample a few wines.
